Holiday Tags

Hi everyone, Yana is here. Have you seen the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge yet? It’s a great place with tons of creative inspiration and some fantastic prizes too! You can quickly get inspired by just looking at all of the amazing entries our readers have submitted!

One of the challenge categories is all about holiday tags. So I thought I’d share a few easy tags that I made using some of my favorite supplies from Hero Arts.

Find out how to make these tags — click for supplies and instructions.

I started by making a traditional tag – I die cut a tag shape out of Blush layering paper from Hero Arts, stamped Winter Sparkle Background in red for a tone on tone look and simply added a die cut word Holiday with a felt poinsettia.

If you don’t have a holiday background stamp you can easily use an everyday one. For my next tag I used the Vintage Constellation background stamp and stamped it in Soft Vanilla ink. Next I added a sentiment in green and another poinsettia.

Now, not every tag has to have a tag shape. How about a rectangle tag or a tag shaped like a star? I have a few of those as well! Just like for my previous tags I stamped a background, added a felt embellishment and a holiday sentiment.

I hope you feel inspired to create a tag or two and enter our Hero Arts Holiday Challenge! You have until November 15th to enter.
