Yesterday someone was asking me about my favorite color. I stopped what I was doing at that moment to think about it. Well, I came to the conclusion that I don’t have a favorite one, just because I love many colors, specially the ones that make me feel happy. Yellow is one of those. Today I am featuring a pretty stamp set called Mason Jar Bugs along with other fabulous products to make this happy yellow card:
First of all, I want to point out that this set is quite pretty. It includes many fun bug images, sentiments, a net and even a Mason jar image. There is also a set of matching Frame Cuts and a Jar Die available. You can find the direct links to these products at the end of this post.
To start with this card, I stamped the branch with Caramel Hybrid Ink, and leaves with Moss Hybrid Ink over a Snow Layering paper rectangle (2.75″ x 4″). Then, on another piece of card stock I stamped the daisy with Dandelion Hybrid Ink, and a butterfly image with Neon Red to Purple .
After that, I die cut the stamped images with their matching dies, and I adhered them onto the rectangular panel. To give a little bit of dimension to the daisy, I stacked three glue dots behind it, and for the butterfly I simply used foam tape.
Next, I used a “hello” sentiment included in a very useful set called Many Everyday Messages with Intense Black Ink. To enhance the word I put Glossy Accents over it. I embellished the card with baker’s twine, pearls and gemstones.
That’s all from me today. I hope you feel inspired to create with your favorite colors… Do you have one or more?
