Halloween Hoops

We’re officially in the fall season here in the Pacific Northwest. The weather has been crisp and sunny. Fall brings Halloween, so I’m sharing a couple projects using the same stamps.

I really love designing with 3 inch hoops. Although I used the same stamps, D6004 Spider in Web and C6016 Happy Halloween, isn’t it amazing how different the projects look?

Let’s chat about each hoop individually, shall we?

The spider webs have been stamped with Hero Hues Black Dye Ink. Did you know you can watercolor with it? I used Dusty Concord and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks combined with a bit of water. The Happy Halloween has been stamped with Unicorn Pigment Ink. I finished off the sentiment with a couple lavender gemstones.

Up next is the black Happy Halloween:

This time the spider webs were stamped with the Unicorn Pigment Ink on black cardstock. The sentiment has been stamped with Hero Hues Black Dye Ink on Floral Mix Layering Paper. The sentiment has been finished off with Sunshine Mixed Accent Gems.

These will be perfect little gifties to send to both of my kids that are in college.

Be on the look out, the Makeover Challenge winners post will be coming later in the day!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Fall!
