Gift Tags Galore

Tags…they are a such a fun canvas to play with! Whether you use them with gift packaging or adhere them to a card base, there are so many uses for them. I’m sharing three tags today, here are two that I designed:

Tag duo by Amy Tsuruta for Hero Arts

The Peace & Joy set is full of fun designs. I adore the stitched tag in the set. The Shine Brightly tag is centered around a green and pink color combo. The sentiment is from Sparkle Borders. It has been heat embossed in Gold. The trio of trees from the Joy To The World set have also been heat embossed in gold and have been colored with watered down Distress inks. The background is Candy Stripe Bold Prints. It has been stamped in Lime Green.

Next up is the Peace & Joy tag. The sentiment is from the Peace & Joy set.  The Color Layering Wreath was stamped with Green Hills, which I spritzed with water first then I followed up with Field Greens. The bow was stamped with Red Royal, my favorite shade of red. I topped off this tag with a semi-circle of green cork.

I tend to gravitate to the fresh + fun style of  design so I thought it would be a great challenge for me to go a bit vintage, something that I don’t dabble in but love the look.

Deck the Halls by Amy Tsuruta for Hero Arts

Using the same tag base from Peace & Joy, I heat embossed the Hand Drawn Snowflakes Bold Prints  in white.  To make the snowflakes pop I used a mini ink blending tool with a Tea Dye Stain. The Deck the Halls sentiment from  Lia's set with the same name has been stamped in Red Royal. I used a circle die and carefully followed the border with glue and gold glitter. For added interest, I added a wood veneer snowflake that has been topped off with a Black Gem.

Thanks so much for stoppin’ by today!
