Farewell, Wida

Today we say goodbye to our friend Wida Miller, who has made the decision to step down from our design team and focus her time and energy on her family. We thank Wida for the beautiful cards she shared with us over the past few months. Her unique style has been a wonderful addition to the blog, and we will miss her very much! Please visit her blog for more about her departure. Farewell, Wida!

Today I made a Wida card. Hopefully you will see the fresh design and edgy look that I adore. Layers and patterns and Hero Arts goodness with melted distress inks mixed together with a baby wipe! An experiment in creativity that was a success!  It is with heavy heart I announce this is my last post for Hero Arts and for my personal blog as well.

I need to walk away for a 1000 reasons. I won’t bore you with more details. But know it comes with great pain and sorrow, but also some relief as I have many joys in my life that need to take priority at this time.  I hope to still create, just not on a public platform, but quietly and with less intensity than I had before. Thank you Hero Arts for making me feel like my out of the box ways were worthy and for being the best company in the business.
