The ideas keep coming, leading up to our launch of December’s My Monthly Hero kit on Monday! This one comes to us from our friend Krista Wells! Krista is a member of Kelly Purkey’s team, and she is super fun, super talented – and as you can see below, super organized!!
Hi there! I’m so excited to be sharing a project with you today with the exclusive new kit by Kelly Purkey and Hero Arts. Hopefully it will get your creative juices flowing – now and into the New Year!
This kit is an awesome mix of words + phrases that will help you set your goals for the coming year but there’s nothing that says it can’t be used now too! Today I want to share how I used it in my planner for setting goals and getting organized for my December Daily album.
They come in a long string so they were perfect to use as bullet points. In each section I added a little title using different phrases like ‘weekly goals’, ‘get organized’, ‘my goals’, ‘photograph’ & ‘this year I will’. I ran out of appropriate phrases for the last section so I cheated a little and used the tiny light bulb a few times to represent ideas I want to use in my album this month.
Along the side I added some motivation and encouragement in a number of different colours. I wanted this page to be bright and colourful and make me happy when I saw it so I used AF324 Kelly’s Outdoor Inks for all the stamping.
I also incorporated my favourite outline stamps from the Clearly Kelly line, CL821 Kelly’s Outline Letters, for my title sections. They’re an oldie but a goodie.
This kit is so versatile. It includes all kinds of stamps for your planner but I think it would be awesome for little project life cards or scrapbook pages. Goals, after all, should be documented to share and motivate ourselves right?!
Thanks so much, Krista! We’ll be watching your blog to see the resulting scrapbook layouts that come from all of this good planning!
Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, before the kit launches at noon eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!
We’ll be back tomorrow morning with more ideas – see you then!
