Congratulations

Today I’m sharing a baby card.  I’m a huge fan of gender neutral colors, how about you?

Let’s start from the bottom and work up. The fun Alphabet Soup Bold Prints is a great base for a baby card. I inked it up with Butter Bar Shadow Ink. The Little Turtle and Little Hippo are so cute stamped in the ombre inks!

I love shaker cards and filled mine with yellow sequins. There are different ways of making shakers. This time I upcycled plastic packaging from a stamp set. I generally use heavy weight acetate but thought I would give the plastic wrap a try. It works but I much prefer acetate. I think shakers in general are a challenge to photograph, the plastic wrap is much more persnickety.

The Congratulations sentiment has been stamped with Mint Julep Shadow Ink.

I couldn’t help but sneak in some gold glitter card stock touches in my design. Nothing says baby like a shaker + glitter!

Have a terrific Wednesday!
