Color Layering with Embossing Powders

Here are three tips that I found helpful in making this technique successful:

  1. Use a powder tool between each stamp layer. This will help eliminate any stray embossing powder sticking in unwanted places.
  2. Make sure your heat tool is nice and hot before you bring it to your paper. This will help to avoid your paper warping.
  3. Press firmly when you are stamping the different layers. The more ink on the surface of the paper, the better the embossing powder will stick and completely cover the dark cardstock.
