Hi everyone! Yana is here and I have a new card to share! I have been recently playing with the Papel Picado Banners stamp set and matching dies and created a fun and colorful project you can see below.
I started by stamping several dotted garlands onto a white panel, I used bright colors of ink as I wanted to create a very cheerful card. I used Neon Pink, Orange Soda, Green Hills and my favorite Butter Bar.
Because this stamp set also has a set of matching dies I was able to stamp several banners and quickly cut them out with the help of my die cutting machine. I used the same colors of ink plus a light blue Cornflower one. I wanted to have a bit of dimension on my project so I used foam adhesive and popped each of the little die cut banners up.
I used a different stamp set for my sentiment – a Many Birthday Messages one and stamped “It’s your day to celebrate” using black ink. The colorful panels at the bottom left corner were created using direct to paper technique, I simply applied ink from my ink pad right onto white paper and was able to achieve that result. So easy!
Thank you for stopping by today!
