One Die 2 Ways

Hello, It's Wida and today I am showing you how to use one die 2 ways for an easy modern holiday themed card. It is my humble opinion that glitter makes everything better. SOOO…for the first card, I die cut the Star Background die in silver glitter paper.  **I saved the negatives of the stars to use for the second card, they could also be used for shaker cards!** Then I die cut the sentiment from Fancy Cuts Holidays using the same color card stock as the card base. Under the sentiment I placed a red banner with a snowflake from the same set. To jazz up the snowflake a bit I placed a pretty pearl in the center.

For the second card I used white card stock and die cut the Star Background die in the same color. I inlaid the glitter stars that I saved above in the center of some of the die cuts. For some color, I trimmed red card stock and stamped a sentiment from Under the Mistletoe to place at the bottom of the card. I THOUGHT I WAS DONE, but I WASN'T. I stared and stared at it for about 48 hours. Then started looking in my stash of “somethings” when I found this pretty pin. It was the perfect little touch!

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look! I am enjoying creating holiday cards using nontraditional products! How about you? Ever try to make something holiday with a non holiday element? wida_sig21 /n[hero_products skus="AF101, CH215, CL797, DC117, DI093, PS610, PS620"]
