Merry and Bright

For today’s card I have created a soft and subtle background using the Holiday Florals Bold Print. This stamp is beautiful and features detailed and delicate images of small holiday greenery and florals. It’s a great image to heat emboss in any color!

I started out by creating a light watercolored background using some green Distress Inks. Then I white heat embossed the Holiday Florals Bold Print over the top. Next I die cut a circle from this piece using our Nesting Circle Dies and positioned the Merry and Bright by Lia stamp behind the die cut window. I also used the Nesting Circle Dies to create the thin circle border around the sentiment. With 18 different sizes of circle dies to choose from, you can make frames of all sizes!

To finish the card, I popped the panel up on a Blush Folded Card and added some white faux stitching around the border. I’m loving the classic red, green and white colors this year for my holiday cards. What color schemes are you drawn to this year?
