Golden Winter Wishes

Hello! It's Donna here sharing a new-to-me stencil technique. See the reindeer? It was gold embossed from a stencil. I wanted to try something different other than sponging it or dry embossing and was so happy that it worked!

After securing the Merry Christmas Reindeer stencil off center, I tapped a Versamark pad over the open area, then gold embossed it. I was pleasantly surprised with how crisp the image turned out.

The sentiment and a few small snowflakes were also gold embossed. I stamped a background design for a bit of texture and finished off the card with some gold sequins and a strip of gold foil cardstock. With all the gold that I used, this card would fit nicely in the new Holiday Challenge under the “Mad About Metallics” category. I hope that you try this technique with your stencils! donnas_signature1 /n[hero_products skus="AF223, CG465, CL798, DC113, PS640, PW100, PW200, SA032, VC250"]
