Enjoy Your Holidays

Hi everyone! This is Yana and today I'm sharing a one layer window card using holiday goodies from Hero Arts.

I love using Hero Arts Layering Papers to create colored card bases for my cards. But did you know, that you can fold the paper colored side in and have a white card on the outside and colored on the inside? How cool is that?

This is exactly what I did for today's project. I used Foliage papers and folded colored side in so a little bit of green is showing through my die cut window. It complements the darker green leaves on my card front nicely.

I also used both negative and positive pieces of my die cut. To create a fake shadow for the word "holidays" I adhered the die cut slightly offsetting it to the left. This way I was also able to attach it to my card base. Finally, to complete this clean & simple look I stamped a few leaves and berries from this set in Forever Green and added three red gems to each. yana-signature /n[hero_products skus="AF101, AF229, CH159, DC117, PS610, PS622"]

Beautifully done, Yana! I love the green on the inside and your use of the both the positive and negative die-cuts!
