Colorful Christmas Tags
Kelly Rasmussen
One staple I always have in my wrapping supplies is kraft paper. It can be used for any occasion and you can dress it up with fun tags and ribbon in any color. You can also stamp on it to create your own personalized wrapping paper! Today I've created some colorful Christmas tags that are very simple to make with minimal supplies.
I grabbed several white tags that I die-cut using the Nesting Tag Dies set. Ever since I got this die set I have a container full of plain white tags that are ready to go -- one less step when I'm in a hurry! Then I pulled out the Poster Christmas Carols stamp set and a bunch of Hero Arts Mid-Tone Shadow Inks and got to work.
When stamping on the tags, I started at the bottom and worked my way up. This way I am able to line up my first image with the bottom edge of the tag to make sure it is straight.
I used some different color combos than I would normally choose, but knew they would all look great once on the kraft paper. I wrote the recipients name on the back of the tag, tied it up with some twine and called it good!
In case you are curious about any of the ink colors, here's what I used:
- Merry & Bright Tag: Mint Julep, Fresh Lawn, Antigua, Cotton Candy
- Joy to the World Tag: Lime Green, Fresh Peach, Dark Quartz, Ultra Pink, Tide Pool
- We Wish You a Merry Christmas Tag: Raspberry Jam, Pale Tomato, Dark Quartz, Antigua
Thanks for stopping by today -- hope you enjoyed these simple Christmas tags you can make with only a couple supplies!
