Today our Creative Team is going to share some fabulous “beyond the kit” ideas for these fun add-ons. First up is Yana!

Kisses Card by Yana Smakula for Hero Arts

Yana: I created simple Kisses & Love card using the new Sealed with a Kiss and the new Love Notes stamp sets. I used a tiny floral cluster from the latter along with Silver shadow ink to stamp a background pattern.

Next, I rubbed the edges of my cardstock panel with some Versamark ink and covered with Platinum embossing powder.

I also stamped a few additional images using Intense Black ink and colored envelopes and hearts using alcohol markers. I adhered my panel onto an A2 top folding card base made out of light gray cardstock.

My second project is very similar – the background pattern was stamped using Charcoal ink onto light gray card base. I added three white gel pen dots next to each floral cluster for a tiny pop of white.

The rose seal as well as the “Will You Be Mine” sentiment and envelope were heat embossed in white embossing powder directly onto the card base. I also stamped “xoxo” and “Please deliver by Feb 14” in black.

And next, a beautiful creation from Amy…

Amy: I created a card that combines the Heart Confetti Fancy Die along with the Smitten sentiment.

Smitten by Amy Tsuruta for Hero Arts

I was playing around with the Heart Confetti Fancy Die and decided to use the heart confetti on my card.  The hearts almost look like they are made from modeling paste, don’t they?

The Smitten has been heat embossed in white.  I wanted to use a non-traditional color so I used panels from the Floral Mixed Layering Papers. The watercolored panel makes for a great backdrop for everything.

We hope you enjoyed today’s projects. Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy stamping!
