Holiday Card Assortment

Every year Hero Arts has a Technique Article featuring fresh ideas for your holiday cardmaking.

This year, we bring you cards that hold gift cards, money and goodies. Artists Jennifer McGuire, Laura Griffin, Kandis Smith and myself put together some fun ideas for you to try.

Instructions:
Starting from the top, Jennifer has created unique ways to give money as a gift. She has attached a tree to a card at the top and bottom only so money can be slipped in and out with ease. Her delightful clear tag flips up to reveal the surprise inside.

Laura and Kandis put their heads together to bring you two great cards in traditional red and green. Laura created a pocket adorned with a scallop stamped edge. The inside of Kandis' festive stamped card reveals it's contents with a sewn pocket for a gift card.

Jennifer created another addition to the collection. She made a clear acetate pocket that holds a colorful stamped chipboard snowflake ornament. I made a card with a simple pocket which holds a decorative sleeve for a gift card.

I hope you enjoy our collaborative ideas and find yourself inspired to make your holiday cards with Hero Arts!
