Tip:
•This effect was most prominently achieved using Hero Arts Dye Inks in a highly contrasting combination and by stamping solid images with dark colors and layering the patterned stamp over the top with a light shadow color, such as Soft Sand.
•Use a ruler with a metal edge when trimming with a craft knife for best results.
• Partially matting an image can give great contrast to a design without adding a lot of bulk.

Here's a recap of the instructions:

  1. Stamp solid flowers with Ruby ink onto lower left of a 4.25 x 5.5” panel of Snow Layering Paper; stamp sentiment towards upper right.
  2. Stamp Envelope Pattern over top with Soft Sand ink.
  3. Trim off left side with a straight edge and craft knife, leaving flowers intact.
  4. Fussy cut floral images so they overhang straight edge.
  5. Flush mount a scrap strip of Punch Layering Paper to a Snow base card; 3D mount focal panel to card front.
