Tip: When making cards in batch, try to do each step in an assembly line fashion. For example, emboss all of the base cards, tie on all the ribbons, or add all of the embellishments at once.

Holiday Batch Card Ideas
By Shari Carroll

What type of Christmas cards do you make to send out for the Holidays? I thought it would be fun to highlight three different styles just in time to get you started.

Instructions:
The number of cards you make for mass mailing may determine the amount of detail you want to put into your design. These three sets of cards were made with that in mind.

Pink Christmas

The first set of cards uses the same layout. I've used a round foam piece as my stamp to paint the background dots. Time saver tip: Let patterned paper and a brightly stamped tree be the focus of color for your cards. To see detailed instructions check it out HERE.

Traditional Holiday Cards

This set of cards focuses on traditional holiday color. The backgrounds were stamped quickly with repeated images to give them a bit more interest. Time saver tip: Stamp a detailed image (large tree) onto green paper rather than white and add coloring with pencils. For full details, click HERE for the green card, HERE for the blue card and HERE for the red card.

Winters Butterfly

Jacki Jones helped me out with this beautiful set of winter cards. Jacki used the Stunning Snowflakes DesignBlock stamp as the focal point of her cards. Using one big stamp is a great time saver when making many cards at once. Check out Jacki's cards clockwise from the top left: HERE for the pale blue, HERE for the darker blue and HERE for the purple.

However you make your cards for the masses, consider some of these time saver tips to get you through it. Also check out the kits we have available here in the Winter Holidays section of the Hero Arts Online store!

Enjoy and create!
