Video: Holiday Bow Accent
By Jennifer McGuire
Create a paper pinwheel accent to embellish a gift.
Instructions:
Stamp the Thank You Definition image with Punch Chalk ink over the surface of a piece of Grenadine Layering Paper.
Score the paper every 1/4" on the whole sheet.
Cut strips from the scored sheet, making them between 1/2" to 1 1/2" in width.
Accordian fold the sheet along the score lines.
Pinch the strip together and cut off a small piece on the end. Add adhesive to the ends and attach together to make a cylinder.
Punch a circle from cardstock and cover with adhesive. Press one end of the cylinder down to make it flat. Attach to the circle. Use Glossy Accents to secure.
Repeat with two smaller strips and then layer together with Glossy Accents.
Apply Fire Red Distress Ink around the edges. Cut a V notch around the outer layer.
Punch a star and stamp the greeting with Black Ink. Apply Wild Honey Distress Ink around the edge of the star and then add Stickles. Attach to the paper pinwheel.
Attach to a doily and embellish with Felt Leaves, ribbon and Pearl Accents.
