A lover of all crafts, Laura was introduced to stamping in 2004 when co-workers invited her to a stamping play date. After a few hours of rubber stamping, she was hooked.
With a day job working as a senior finance manager, Laura enjoys the creative outlet that stamping provides. She loves to hole up in her craft room trying new techniques, designing cards, and making big messes. She designs projects for several stamping and paper crafting magazines and enjoys mixing stamping with other media to create handmade gifts for friends and family. Several of her projects can be found in previous Hero Arts contests, including her Heart Box o' Chocolates (2005 Hearts & Love), Tower of Holiday Fun (2005 Handmade Holidays), Be Mine Altered Tin (2006 Lots of Love), and A Spring Flower Garden (2006 Flowers for Spring).
Laura also enjoys stamping for a cause. In 2002, she founded a charity project in Dallas called Brimming With Love, which provides free hats to cancer patients. Each donated hat comes with a handmade tag, which Laura hopes makes the recipient smile.
