Instructions:

1. First, click HERE to download a coloring chart with suggested marker colors.
2. Stamp the Girl image with black ink on a piece of white cardstock. Color with Copic Markers. Detailed instructions for achieving realistic hair shading is provided on the download.
3. Cut a piece of Iris laying paper to fit on lower portion of a Carnation folded card.
4. Stamp the Iris piece with Iris ink using the Dots stamp. Attach to Carnation folded card.
5. Stamp the greeting with black ink on Snow layering paper and cut to size. Mat with Grass layering paper and attach to the folded card.
6. Attach the tied ribbon to the front of the card as shown.
7. To finish the card, attach the girl image, felt flowers and yellow gems.

Tip:
Usually when coloring with markers or other media such as colored pencils, it is recommended to start with the lightest color. I’ve found that when doing hair color, it is easier to start with the darkest color so that you can put it exactly where you want it.
