This little card is a gem to make for the holidays. Simple one color stamping makes it easy to send handmade greetings to everyone on your Christmas list.
Instructions:
1.) Using baby blue ink, stamp a scalloped background on the top half of a notecard.
2.) Fill the background with snowflakes using royal blue ink, baby blue ink, and the "second stamping" of royal blue ink for a softer hue.
3.) Stamp the winter message below the background block using royal blue ink.
Variation:
If you want to embellish this card, try adding a bit of glitter to each snowflake. Use Hero Arts' Ultra Fine Prisma Glitter and a fine-tip glue stick.
Tip:
Note how some snowflakes are stamped so they go off the edge of the background block. To get this effect, simply mask the edge of the design and then stamp. Remove the mask and you will see just part of your image. It gives your card a nice look.
