Instructions: |
- Trim Snow Layering Paper for card front to measure 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches.
- Trim another piece of Snow Layering Paper slightly smaller than the card front to measure 4 x 5 1/4 inches.
- Run the smaller piece of paper through a die cutting machine with a circle die to cut a circle. Make sure to have a slight over hang with the die at one side of the paper.
- Ink up the border stamps from the Calico Border stamp set, stamping one with Stone Wash Mid Tone Ink. Clean off the same stamp, reink with Pool Mid Tone Ink and stamp alongside the previous border. Ink up the final border stamp with Memories Black Ink and stamp, creating three borders to the opposite side of the die cut circle.
- Trim a small piece of pattern paper from the PB&J paper pad and adhere to the card where the die cut section will be on the card.
- Adhere the stamped border and die cut paper to the front of the card with foam dimensional adhesive.
- Taking more pattern paper from the PB&J paper pad, ink up the Artists Butterfly with Versamark Ink and stamp onto the pattern paper. Apply white embossing powder and heat set.
- Take the Barn Door Distress Marker and add depth of colour to the butterfly body.
- Trim butterfly out and adhere to the centre of the die cut circle on the front of the card with Glossy Accents.
- Adhere white string with Glossy Accents to form antennae for the butterfly.
