Tip: Place all of the postal image stamps onto one large acrylic block at once rather than stamping each image separately. This is a great time saver when creating multiple ATCs for a swap!

Instructions:
To create ATC:
  1. Cut a standard size Artist Trading Card (2.5" x 3.5") from Aubergine Layering Paper and set aside. Cut a piece of Snow Layering Paper just slightly smaller than the Aubergine piece.
  2. Using Versamark pad, stamp postal images randomly on Snow piece. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat emboss.
  3. Rub various purple and blue toned chalk inks over the embossed piece direct to paper. Remove any excess ink with a tissue.
  4. Spray entire piece with a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water in a Mini Mister. Allow to dry.
  5. Place a clean sheet of copy paper over the image. Run a hot, dry iron over the top of the paper. Repeat until all embossing powder is absorbed by the copy paper.
  6. Stamp Friend Definition with Frost White ink over entire piece.
  7. Mount stamped piece to Aubergine ATC base.
To create ATC holder:
  1. Cut Snow Layering Paper to 9.5" x 3.75". Score at 4.75" and fold to create a top-folding card.
  2. Stamp message with black dye ink as shown.
  3. Cut two horizontal slits -- one above and one below stamped message. Make cuts just slightly longer than the width of the ATC.
  4. Slide ATC into slits as shown.
  5. Thread string through slits and tie in a bow.

Variation:
Do not iron away embossing powder if a glossy look is desired.
