Instructions: |
- Start off by cutting a piece of white cardstock to 3.5” x 5.25”.
- Stamp the Starry Night with Walnut Stain Distress Ink onto some old text paper. Do not clean the stamp!
- Stamp the Starry Night without re-inking onto the white cardstock.
- Stitch around edges of the layer with white thread.
- Distress the edges with a paper distressing tool or your nails. Distress the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Carefully, using a small pin, add some glossy accents to the stars. Set aside to dry.
- Stamp the Starburst with Peeled Paint Distress Ink onto some white cardstock – cut out the center with a punch or a circle cutter (1 1/8”) – then cutting around the Starburst, leaving a small white frame. Distress the edges with Walnut Stain distress dye ink using a sponge or ink applicator. Set aside.
- Cut a strip of Kraft cardstock into size 3.5” x 0.75” – stamp Designer Woodgrain onto the piece with Soft Brown Shadow Ink. Stamp the sentiment from the Sending Holiday Cheer with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Let dry. Make a diagonal cut in the left side. Stitch around the edges and finish off by distressing the edges lightly with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
- Cut a strib of silk ribbon and sponge a bit of Walnut Stain Distress Ink onto it in order to tone down the red. Tie a bow using double layers.
- Assemble the card by adhering the white layer onto a Kraft card base adding the Starburst Wreath & the Sentiment with foam adhesive. Finally adhere the bow onto the Starburst Wreath with a glue dot.
