Holiday Tree Trio

Tired of the hectic holiday rush? Light a candle, listen to some carols, and make your own cards. You'll have just as much enjoyment making them as friends will have in receiving them. Plus, this one is EASY -- perfect if you are making several.

Red and Green Layering Paper

Instructions: |
|
1.)Cut a piece of white card stock to measure 2 1/2" x 4". Using black ink, stamp the tree design in the middle.
2.) Color trees and message using red and green pencils. Add a dab of water over colored areas to create a soft wash.
3.) Layer stamped piece with red and green paper. Adhere to front of card.
4.) Add gold glitter glue to each star. Let dry thoroughly. |
Chalks, instead of pencils, can also be used to add color to the trees and message. Once you have added color, smudge it around with a cosmetic applicator.
