Hero Arts is now offering exciting MONTH-long contests based upon creative monthly themes and a featured technique/project. We will announce winners in TWO groups, so you have twice the opportunities to win!

• Submit as many entries as you would like around the monthly themes and/or featured technique.
• Submit by the second Thursday and the fourth Thursday of the month.
• 1st Group of winners announced the third Thursday of the month from the early submissions.
• 2nd Group of winners announced the first Thursday of the next month from ALL submissions.

Bookmark, save, or print the calendar below to help keep track of the dates and deadlines for entry. Submit as many entries as you would like around the monthly themes and/or featured technique!

October Challenge: Create a NEW stamped project based on any of the following…

• Holiday cards - Includes cards you create to give anytime during the winter holiday season. (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s, etc.) General winter cards are also welcome!
• Using non-holiday stamps to create holiday cards - Be sure to check out Shari Carroll’s October technique article and video for one idea and get creative with your stamps!
• Sketch - Choose from any of the three sketches below. Sketch projects can be of any theme.

Please use at least one Hero Arts stamp or Hero Arts digital element on each of your projects.

Submitting and Tagging: Upload your entries to the Hero Arts Flickr Group. Check the FAQ here for more information on how to upload to Flickr. When submitting your creations, please be sure to include the following tags:

• For projects created between October 3 and October 13 (11:59pm PST) - Tag entries with October2011A
  
• For projects created between October 14 and October 27 (11:59pm PST) - Tag entries with October2011B
• If you are entering the Digital category (with a Hero Arts Digi Kit, Hero Arts Silhouette shape, Hero Art Digital Die Cut or Printable) it’s very helpful to add the tag digi or digital (or both!)

Prizes: By entering, you could win a shopping spree of your choice of Hero Arts products from the Hero Arts Online Store! The prize amounts are as follows and will be awarded on both Thursday, October 20 and Thursday, November 3:

• Fab Five (five outstanding creations): $50 each
  
• Digital Winner (create something using a Hero Arts Digital Kit, Hero Arts Silhouette design, Hero Arts Digital Die Cut, or Hero Arts Printable): $50
• Fresh Face Winner (someone who has not yet won a contest): $50

We would love to see everyone participate, from the wonderful long-time members, to the active contest submitters, to first timers, to casual participants. Our goal with this contest format is to give more people more opportunities to submit, and more opportunities to show off our wonderfully diverse and inspirational creations from our broad community of stampers!
