February 2012 Contest Details


Hero Arts is now offering exciting MONTH-long contests based upon creative monthly themes and a featured technique/project. We will announce winners in TWO groups, so you have twice the opportunities to win!

  • Submit as many entries as you would like around the monthly themes and/or featured technique.
  • Submit by the second Thursday and the fourth Thursday of the month.
  • 1st Group of Winners announced the third Thursday of the month from the early submissions.
  • 2nd Group of Winners announced the first Thursday of the next month from ALL submissions.

February Challenge: Create a NEW stamped project based on any of the following…

  • Friendship and Hello Cards
  • Die Cutting - Be sure to check out Shari Carroll’s February technique article and video for one idea and get creative with your die cutting! Die cut projects can be of any theme.
  • Sketch Challenge - Choose from any of the three sketches provided below. Sketch projects can be of any theme. Click here to download a PDF.


Please use at least one Hero Arts stamp or Hero Arts digital element on each of your projects.

Submitting and Tagging: Upload your entries to the Hero Arts Flickr Group. Check the FAQ here for more information on how to upload to Flickr. When submitting your creations, please be sure to include the following tags:

  • For projects created between February 1 and February 9 (11:59pm PST) - Tag entries with February2012A
  • For projects created between February 10 and February 23 (11:59pm PST) - Tag entries with February2012B
  • If you are entering the Digital category with a Hero Arts Digi Kit, Hero Arts Silhouette shape, Hero Art Digital Die Cut or Printable, it’s very helpful to add the tag digi or digital (or both!)

Prizes: By entering, you could win a shopping spree of your choice of Hero Arts products from the Hero Arts Online Store! The prize amounts are as follows and will be awarded on both Thursday, February 16 and Thursday, March 1:

Our goal with this contest format is to give more people more opportunities to submit, and more opportunities to show off our wonderfully diverse and inspirational creations from our broad community of stampers!
