Hello, stampers! It’s Jennifer here today with a video showing a quick and easy way to make a one layer card with colored pencils.
(If you are having troubles viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.)
I just love the Hero Arts Kraft Notecards. The texture is so natural and unique…and adding pops of color is easy! I just stamped first with Unicorn White Pigment Ink and let it dry. (You can heat set it if you want.) I then colored over the white ink with the new Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils. You can go soft or bold…it just depends on how hard you press! I went with medium pressure and kept the coloring “incomplete” for an artsy look. I did blend the coloring a bit by going over it with a white pencil. You can use any colored pencils for this technique, but I really like the smoothness of good quality colored pencils like these.
The wonderful folks at Spectrum Noir have donated a fabulous prize pack for us to give away!
One lucky winner will get the Primaries and Essentials Blendable Pencil Sets along with some fun accessories. For your chance to win leave a comment on this post by 11:59 PST on Thursday, May 8th.
Good luck and thanks for stopping by!
