Hi! It’s Jennifer here with a fun way to take a plain die cut and turn it into a faux metal embellishment. Check it out:
(If you are having trouble viewing the video, try watching it HERE on YouTube.)
I used the new Blooming Flower Fancy Die and gave it a not-so-flowery-look with this technique.
After layering four of the die cuts together and cutting it in half, I covered the two pieces with a thick layer of silver and gold embossing powder. Instantly, I have the look of a metal embellishment! So easy to do and you can use any embossing powders. Oh! And I even embossed the edges of the notecard to match.
Hope this inspires you to give a new look to a die cut. Enjoy!
