Neon Graffiti

Hi, Sally here. And I must confess something today. I love bright colors! Shocking, I know! ;-) I was in several cities last week that were so overcast I couldn’t wait to get back to my sunshine. And the best source of sunshine in the stamp room? Neon inks!! So I played with Neon Daubers today, combined with our Numbers Background stencil. A tip - I taped the stencil to my paper with washi tape so it wouldn’t move around, and then daubed away!

When I removed the stencil I wasn’t completely thrilled with the look, so I stamped Newspaper Background over it in black after it completely dried (!!). And then I loved it. It also needed something bold and black so I used a blurb from the new What’s Up woodblock set, and one of my favorite graphic alphabets - Sketchbook Letters - to spell out some greetings.

Love the card! I can’t decide if I like the neon or the pastel daubers best. You know what that means - I will probably have to buy all the colors!!
