I Like Daubers a Latte!

Hi there stampers! It’s Lisa here today, and I have a card that I hope you will like a “latte”!

One of my favorite things about this card is the funky background I created, combining ink daubers with the background stamp K5884 Pattern Stripes! I swiped several colors of daubers over the stamp - Dark Quartz, Pastel Yellow, Wet Cement, Pastel Peach and Tide Pool - then stamped it out on white paper. When you’re doing a dauber technique like this, you always want to start with the lightest colors and work to the darkest, so that you don’t contaminate your daubers. If you do get some color on a dauber, just swipe it on scratch paper. Easy peasy!

And see that scalloped border? That was made with a dauber, too! I created the scallop by making dots with a Wet Cement dauber. Fun!
