Wild and Crazy

Hi everyone! It’s Tami here today to share my last card of the year — and why not go out on a wild and crazy note? I created this colorful birthday card for my niece with some fun new stamps from the 2014 Catalog.

Find out how to make this card — click for complete supplies and instructions.

Her party was zebra themed, so naturally the new Zebra Print background stamp was the way to go! In this photo you can see the sparkly effect that was created by stamping with silver ink onto a black notecard, then embossing with our awesome sparkle powder.

And here’s a look at how I added the bright colors. First I used ink daubers to create horizontal stripes on a piece of white cardstock — a different color for each line of the message. Then I stamped the Wild and Crazy message with Unicorn ink right on top, and heat embossed with white powder. TIP: A stamp positioning tool, such as the Stamp-a-ma-jig, helps with the placement if you’re trying to make each line a different color.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day…do something wild! :)
