Pretty packaging (plus peeks!)

“Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things”

It’s true. I do love a brown paper package…especially one that’s dressed up with lots of fun details! I added some NEW stamps, tissue paper die cuts, and other bits and pieces to create this little “thank you” treat package.

Did you spy the two new stamps? The Five Line Background (S5885) was stamped onto the front of the bag with white ink, and a to/from tag was created with the Thank You with Arrows (H5873) stamp. Both are from the 2014 Catalog, debuting December 17th — just two weeks from today!

Speaking of new, I tried something new with our Floral Lace die, cutting it from tissue paper instead of the usual cardstock. It worked perfectly! Some colored string, a mini clothespin, washi tape, and patterned paper finish off the package.

How about creating a few of these with holiday-themed stamps and colors, then filling them with sweet treats for neighbors and friends?

Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy the day and the season of giving!
