Hello, and welcome to this week’s Social Club. Did you know that in addition to our monthly contests, some of our fabulous Flickr friends run Scramble challenges once every two weeks over in the Hero Arts Flickr Group? The themes are different each time, and for each challenge, you have 90 minutes to create a card and upload it to our pool to be in with a chance of winning a Hero Arts digikit, and often a prize from the Scramble hostess as well. And it’s such fun! A really great way to challenge yourself to create something in a limited time frame. Plus, if it fits, you can enter your creation into the monthly contest too.

So today we thought we’d highlight some of our favorite cards from last weekend’s Scramble, which was hosted by Linda Wetterlin. The theme was embossing.

Our first card for today is by Virginia L. And doesn’t it just brighten YOUR day? What a way to send a greeting to a friend and we LOVE her two-tone embossed Heart Butterflies.

The partial dry embossing on this elegant friendship card by Rosemary D really makes this card pop. So beautiful and dreamy…

And finally, a beauty by krolski (Kathy) which features both heat and dry embossing. Don’t you just love her inked Everything Flower panel.
