It’s the little things.

Hi! It’s Tami here today with a soft and Springy “hello” card featuring this month’s color challenge and a small stamp from our Stamp of the Week. I absolutely love what Kelly created with this same set yesterday, and thought it would be fun to show another take on it.

Instead of using the main stamps from the set, I picked one of the small images — the sweet little butterfly. It may not be the star of the set, but it can hold its own when paired with some grid stamping and pretty ink colors!

This grid stamping technique is one you can turn to again and again. Grab any small stamp, pick your ink colors, leave a little space for a message, and stamp away! For this card I used Soft Sky, Soft Green and Soft Purple Shadow Inks, but how about various shades of green paired with shamrocks? Pastels and snowflakes? Brights with tropical flowers? Lots of options!

Oh and I can’t resist mentioning the itty bitty and oh so cute “hello there” greeting. It comes from the Studio Calico Sundrifter Love This set. When you need a smaller sized message this set fits the bill! Love it.

    This is gorgeous Tami. I love the soft and demure colours. The colours are subtle and so feminine with a touch of elegance with those fluttery creatures. Love the design and the execution is mastered to perfection. Hugs.
