Paper Mosaics

Hi everyone! It’s Libby here, sharing a fun technique for creating mosaics on your cards and projects. I was reminded of this technique when I saw a fabulous article by Katina Killey in the UK publication Quick Cards Made Easy, using Hero Arts stamps! (Yay for getting published with Hero Arts stamps!) :-) I changed the technique up just a bit from how Katina did it, as I’m a wee bit Mod Podge-obsessed and wanted to use it here! In keeping with this month’s theme of Love & Lace, I used the Classic Heart stamp. But since Valentine’s Day has passed, I used a blue color scheme and stamped the Day to Celebrate Script message, thinking the love here could be for a wedding or anniversary card instead.

Here’s a closer look at the mosaic heart.

And my step-by-step video, so you can follow along and try it yourself!

I hope you all have fun adding a little mosaic to your creative repertoire!

Happy Stamping,

Hi Michele! The heart pin is from Maya Road, called “Trinket Pins - Hearts”. It’s been in my stash for a little while now. It was originally pink, I colored it blue with a Copic marker. :-)
