Step-up your Valentines!
I’ve always had a thing for conversation hearts — love seeing all of the cute messages! I thought it would be fun to step them up using the new Floral Lace Fancy Die — goes perfectly with the Love & Lace theme for the month! Here’s what I came up with:
To make this, first I cut some doilies out of copy paper — since the paper is so thin, you can cut at least two doilies out at a time. Makes this something you can do in a big batch!
Then I rubbed some Neon Pink ink on a craft sheet, spritzed it with water, and dragged the edges of the doilies through it. Note that unlike what you would expect from say distress ink, neon ink doesn’t blend with water. It kinda separates. But I think this gives it a rather cool look!
Then I just wrapped a doily around each box with twine, added some hearts, and tah-da! A stepped-up Valentine!
