Following the Star
Monday greetings, stampers! It’s Tami here today to share a clean & simple Christmas card featuring our Heavens Rejoice stamp set. I started by stamping and white embossing a silhouetted scene, then added some graduated stripes of color and framed it all up with a raised die cut window.

Find out how to make this card — click for complete supplies and instructions.
The striped background that peeks through the die cut frame was created by using the back side of a border stamp from the Calico Borders set. It creates the perfect long, solid rectangle! That’s a tip I picked up here on the Hero blog many years ago and use all the time. It’s fun to see what shapes you can come up with when you look at them backwards. :) Once the striped background was complete, I misted it with Tattered Angels Pearl Glimmer Mist for some soft sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Our thoughts are with everyone in Sandy’s path. Please stay safe, friends!
