A very NEON Christmas!
Hello, and happy Friday. It’s Lucy here today, and you may just want to put on your sunglasses before scrolling down… because I finally caught the neon bug. I have a Christmas card to share with you that is probably the brightest, blingy-est card I have ever made. Neon, heat embossing, glitter AND silver thread, all on one card! I stamped the trees from the Holiday Cheer stamp and die set using 5 shades of Neon ink, then used the matching die to cut them out. I added Stickles, chunky glitter and then wrapped some silver thread round each tree. Such fun! I thought the sentiment from the Greetings for the Holidays set was a great match - Christmas certainly IS the season for bling after all…

Oh, and in my opinion, the Snow Dots stamp is just calling out for embossing powder. I found some neon paper in my stash, and stamped the Snow Dots in Neon pink, then heat embossed. It’s so shiny!

Thanks for joining me today, I hope I’ve inspired you to get going with your holidays cards this weekend. Maybe you’ll add a bit of bling to your cards too.

Love the festive feeling that this card gives me Lucy! I especially like the effect that the silver thread gives to the trees - so delicate. Thanks so much for the tip about Wet Cement Shadow Ink on kraft cardstock. Love it!
