Shadowed Branches

Hello and Happy Monday, stampers! Welcome to a special week of Hero Arts - BasicGrey inspiration!
Today I’m kicking things off with a holiday card that uses coordinating stamps and papers from the gorgeous new Aspen Frost collection. It’s never too early to start thinking about your holiday cards and this clean and simple design would be an easy one to mass produce. With the fabulous variety of patterns in the Aspen Frost 6×6 paper pad, you could make each one unique if you wanted to — so fun to mix and match those patterns!

I just love the branch from the Aspen Happy Holidays clear set, and decided to add a shadow effect to it with some two-step stamping. Simply stamp the branch first with green ink (I used the new Soft Olive Shadow Ink), then stamp it again, just slightly offset, with white pigment ink. Here’s a better look at the dimension it adds…

Thanks for stopping by today! Lisa will be here tomorrow with more Hero Arts - BasicGrey inspiration. I can’t wait to see what she’s cooked up with the Soleil collection!
Have a wonderful day!
