Hooray! It’s time to announce the winners for the second round of our August contest. We have had hundreds of fabulous entries this August - it seems you were very inspired by our sketches and themes! So, without further ado, let’s see whose cards stood out this time!

Our Fresh Face this time is Tenia Renee Nelson, who used one of our sketches as inspiration for her adorable card. We love the way she customised our Zig Zag Cupcake with a smiley face and wiggle eyes.

Iwona Palamountain is our digital winner. She used our Three Ferns digital Silhouette file, and we think her fern looks stunning against that inked background. A CAS beauty!

And now our Fab Five, five of our favorite projects, presented in no particular order. Just like our Fresh Face and Digital winners, every member of the Fab Five will receive a $50 Hero Arts shopping spree.

Firstly, MyPinkMexico (call me Mary Dawn), who interpreted our sketch in this beautiful way. We love seeing holiday cards popping up in the pool already! Doesn’t the Winter Scene look beautiful stamped on vellum.

This stylish card by Agata Dag features a hand made cracked glass embellishment. We love the combination of background stamps and pretty color combination.

Limedoodle has created a perfect clean and simple card, using masking, dies and a heartfelt sentiment. What a stunner!

We love the colors GPAHandmade has used on this bright and cheerful card. The beautiful inked panel has been stamped with our Flower Dot Pattern stamp, and he even created his own matching buttons using Shari’s tutorial. Brilliant!

And finally for this month, another fabulous CAS card, also an interpretation of our first sketch. meadie1 has made the sentiment on her card the focal point, and we love it!
