Hello Birdie
Hi everyone! It’s Kelly here today with a fun bold card based on one of our August sketches.
One of my favorite ways to use my background stamps is to create a tone-on-tone effect as I did here with the Square Pattern and Envelope Liner images. It adds a lot to a card without being too distracting from the focal point. And speaking of a focal point isn’t this birdie adorable?!?! I white embossed the image and then colored it in with some watercolor paints.

The decorative border down the center was created with a postage stamp border punch. I just lined up the blue and green panels and let a bit of the white card base show through to create this unique element — so fun!

And great news — the Untitled Love stamp set that I used on my card is our Stamp of the Week!

Now through Sunday, September 2nd you can get Untitled Love at 25% off ($9.00) in the Hero Arts Online Store. (No promo code required.)
Have an amazing day!
