Social Club loves… WASHI!

Hello! It’s time for Social Club, and this week we’re showcasing some creations we’ve spotted in our Flickr pool that use washi tape - one of the paper crafting industry’s hottest products. However… this isn’t just any washi tape. All three talented ladies have used homemade washi tape - created with Hero Arts stamps. Yay!
First up, Agata Dag, with this sweet layout about her adorable daughter. The Alphabet Pattern tape is perfectly matched to the theme of her layout.

Next, Helenshiau with this pretty, heartfelt card. We especially love the way she has stamped her sentiment over her Newspaper Background washi tape.

And finally, TRace44, whose beautiful card features her fabulous washi tape, a delicious color scheme, AND a handmade stamped brad! Genius! (Oh, and that orange Dot Flower tape makes us swoon…)

Ladies - you’re inspirational! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cards. As a thank you, we would like to give these three talented cardmakers our Ribbon Borders digikit. We think the stamps in this kit would make great washi tape!
Winners, please send us an email using our address on the sidebar and we’ll get your digikit to you. And if you’d like a Social Club blinkie for your blog, let us know.
Have a great day!

Never thought about doing this. I have yet to buy any washi tape and I may try making my own before I do. Wonderful cards!

These ladies are giving the washi tape companies some real competition.

I love washi tape but haven’t purchased any because I didn’t know what I would do with it — now I know! Great examples of how clever you can be with it! I know what I’m going to buy at the scrappin’ store this weekend!

Such fun uses for the washi tapes, especially since they’re personally stamped ones. Congrats, ladies!
