Neon Buttons and a New Contest for August!
Hi everyone! Shari here and today I’m feeling a 1980’s groove with our totally radical new Neon Inks! Remember when neon was all the rage in the 80’s? Well it’s clearly back with a vengeance, and I am having so much fun incorporating touches of neon into my projects! Today’s touch of neon comes by way of homemade buttons, and I’m sharing a quick and easy technique for making some for yourself!
Find out how to make this card — click for complete supplies and instructions.
Buttons are especially fun in neon, but this technique can be used to create buttons in any color you may need to embellish your projects. And making your own embellishments is our technique for the August Contest, along with Clean & Simple stamping and a sketch challenge!
Visit our contest page for all of the details for this month’s challenge. Your 1st round submissions are due in the Hero Arts Flickr Group by August 16 at 11:59pm PST. We can’t wait to see what you create!
Join us back here tomorrow when we’ll be announcing the second round of July contest winners!
