Hi everyone, it’s Lisa here, and I’m super excited to kick off a swap with Heidi Swapp today to celebrate all things neon! Woo! You see, Heidi has a collection of Day Glow products that coordinate perfectly with the new Hero Arts neon inks, so of course we just had to do a blog switcheroo and play!
The Day Glow collection includes photo corners, washi tapes, neon letters, and gel pens. I had an absolute blast playing with all of them. And that’s not all! Heidi’s team sent us some Color Magic papers that have patterns in resist — if you look closely you can see a chevron patterned one in the background of the photo. The patterns are revealed when you apply mist, paints and — best of all — neon ink! Check the cute flags I made with them:
Don’t the Color Resist neon inked flags match the washi tape to perfection? And if that wasn’t dazzling enough, I had to add a Heidi Swapp Disco Sequin Heart. Wah!
And I couldn’t stop there — nope, not me — I had to stamp the background with VersaMark Frost ink to add a more subtle shimmer — here’s a closeup so you can see it better:
Then I finished it off with Black Pearl gems — ta dah!
And now, how about a giveaway? One lucky winner will receive all three new Hero Arts neon inks! Just leave a comment on this post and we’ll announce a random winner on Monday.
Now then, click on over to the Heidi Swapp blog and check out what glowing goodness they’ve come up with.
And that’s not all! Kelly will be here tomorrow for Day 2 of the swap! I’ve seen her card, and it’s fabulous — just wait until you see.
