Neon Hugs!

Hi everyone! It’s Lisa, and I am super excited to share this card with you today, made with the new Hero Arts NEON inks! I’m over-the-moon happy about these new inks, so glad they’re finally HERE!

These new inks are sure to add impact to all of your projects! It’s a little hard to photo the neon glow, you really need to see them in real life to appreciate all the fluorescent goodness!

Find out how to make this card — click for complete supplies and instructions.

And, here’s a little trick I just found out about! You can make the glow last even longer by stamping on glossy paper! Woo! Otherwise the glow will fade a little over time as the fluorescent component of the ink is absorbed into the paper. (Just for reference, this card was stamped over a month ago, and it was even brighter then ha ha!)

I used this week’s Stamp of the Week to create the “neon hugs” message on my card. I love our alphabet sets, they allow you to create any message that your little heart desires! And this Typewriter Letters set is one of my favorites. This week only they are 25% off in the Hero Arts Online Store, so it’s the perfect time to add them to your collection!

Thanks for stopping by today! Shari will be here tomorrow, sharing her fabulous technique for July!

These colors are a walk down memory lane for me…they were hot, hot, hot, in the late 60’s early 70’s! Love your fun neon card!

Gorgeous and cute card, Lisa! I love your design and the way you’ve used the neons! I haven’t sported neons since the late 80s but I’ll definitely be trying them out on cards now - thanks for the inspiration!
