A “her card” made into a “his card”
Happy Friday!
To finish off our “his and her” card week, I decided to take a “her” card I did for the 2012 catalog and turn it into a “his” card.
First up, here is the feminine card. I colored and popped up the butterfly in the collage image.

For the masculine version, I wanted to use the same collage stamp. However, the butterfly looked too feminine. So what did I do? I covered it! I just added a bold clock image and instantly changed the look completely. Just another way to get more from one stamp…

Cards by Jennifer McGuire. Complete supplies and instructions here.

And now it’s time to announce our first $50 Wish List Shopping Spree of the month!! I’ve really enjoyed the ‘his’ and ‘hers’ cards. I’m always on the lookout for masculine cards as I have lots of men in my family. THanks.

Thank you for doing two designs from the same stamp set AND doing something I would send to a male relative or friend. Very nice use of color.

This is an AMAZING reworking of a femme card. In honesty I’d prefer the clock card anyways! Just lovely.

LOVE these cards. What a completely different effect with some simple changes. The use of buttons adds a nice touch. Now I’m going to have to get that Merci stamp!
