Inking up some cheer…

Hi and welcome to Watch It Wednesday!  I just LOVE letterpress cards, and today I’m sharing a little trick I do to achieve a letterpress “look”. First stamp your image from 657765 Birds n Trees in green ink on white paper. Next ink up the embossing folder (usually the side with the Sizzix label) in a pale shadow color. Then line up the stamped image with the folder and run through the machine! Voila!  I guarantee jaw dropping moments. Everyone LOVES how this process works when I demo it.  I’ll walk you through it step by step in the video below - and as a bonus, I’ll show you how to cut the quilted trees from Monday’s post!
