Celebrating World Cardmaking Day!

Hello and Happy World Cardmaking Day from all of us at Hero Arts!

We are HUGE fans of Operation Write Home and the wonderful work they do to help deployed service members keep in touch with loved ones at home. And we were thrilled when they invited us to be a part of their Christmas themed World Cardmaking Day blog hop! What better way to celebrate, right?! The busy holiday season will be here before we know it, so now is a great time to get started making those holiday cards for the troops.

So how about some inspiration to get those creative juices flowing? We have two cards to share today, starting with this super sweet design from Tami Hartley. She paired the heart from the Snowflake Shapes set with a fitting message from the Wishes Come True set. Add a splash of playful colors, a grid design that’s easy to recreate, and a few fun embellishments, and you’ve got yourself a Christmas card sure to warm hearts!

Next, get a load of this wonderfully creative camouflage Christmas card from Shari Carroll — talk about clever! She stamped and colored the Hanging Ornaments, using the new matching digital die cut file to precisely cut around the image using her Silhouette. Amazing detail! Have you ever seen camouflage look so elegant?

Since World Cardmaking Day is one of our favorite days of the year, it calls for a fabulous giveaway — so we’re giving you a chance to win ALL of the stamps used on the cards shown today! Here they are…
